FAREHAM TOWN 1 NEWPORT 1
 
After an evenly contested first half,

 Tom McInnes gave Newport the lead on 71 minutes. However a Fareham equaliser by substitute Jack Kirby, denied Newport all three points.
In stoppage time, Ross Gregory was shown a red card. Newport drop to 16th in the table, however only 5 points seperate them from sixth place Fareham who have played two matches more.
