A poor performance by The Port against a side struggling in its own league. Admittedly the home sides long ball game did not suit the the Port's attempts to play football on a pitch of minimum dimensions.

Goals by Iain Seabrook and a late effort by Tom McInnes were not enough to overcome Carterton striker Michael Duerden's hat trick and once again the Port go out of an FA competition to a Hellenic League side.
